It was a fresh Christmas eve. We all sat around the T.V to watch the carols. The next morning I woke up and ran to the tree. I opened one of my presents. It had green scaly skin, sharp spines and it was hissing. It was a Green Lizard! I asked myself “When did it arrive?“. I was at home the whole time. There is no way mum could have smuggled it without me noticing. I was so happy. I have never had my own pet before. It was the best day.
